Armstrong and Aldrin spent approximately 22 hours on the moon’s surface before leaving. While outside Eagle, the two astronauts captured a number of amazing photographs. We’re quite sure you’ve seen some of them before. People who say they never visited the moon have pointed to alleged inconsistencies in these photographs to support their claims that the landing was a fake.

So-called “moon truthers” have used photographs allegedly shot by Armstrong to dispute the moon landing. They think it was all a ruse and a set-up. Do you want to hear what we’re talking about? They have pointed out that the shadows on the surface are not parallel, among other things. People who are skeptical of the lunar landing argue that this means studio lighting was used instead.
