Daisy was her lively self, leaping and playing with her new litter, blissfully unaware of the odd little pup trailing behind her. This peculiar newcomer lingered on the sidelines, hesitant and unsure of its place among the boisterous group. The others tumbled over one another in a chaotic blur of paws and wagging tails, while the unusual puppy watched quietly. Its demeanor was more curious than playful, observing and sniffing as Daisy gently nudged it, encouraging the shy little one to join the fun.

Over the next few weeks, Dr. Miller became a regular visitor, stopping by to monitor the peculiar puppy’s progress. He would observe it closely as it trotted around, silently studying its every move. It felt as though the puppy was performing a role in some grand play, with Dr. Miller as both the meticulous director and an intrigued audience.
