Woods has been known to live on the Privacy when traveling for golf tours and competitions. While this obviously reduces lodging costs, it is likely only a small portion of the rumored $2 million in annual running costs required to maintain Privacy in working order. Woods swiftly rose to the top of the sporting world (and many Wheaties boxes) after winning back-to-back PGA Tour events. Liz Taylor was one of the biggest stars of her time, if not the largest, and her guest list didn’t disappoint. It has received well-known actors including Harrison Ford and Robert De Niro, as well as members of the royal family. The massive ship was undoubtedly home to many epic parties. Feadship built Highlander in 1986, and Jon Bannenberg designed it. Highlander was designed for Malcolm Forbes, the publisher of Forbes Magazine. It became, according to Edmiston, a symbol of “big business” as it cruised the East Coast of the United States.
