So, with its 363-foot-tall Saturn V rocket, Apollo 11 was launched from Cape Kennedy on July 16th, 1969. This was merely one of the four sections that made up the spacecraft. The other three were the service module, the lunar module, and the command module. Hundreds of thousands of people turned out to watch the three-person crew launch into space. Some people, on the other hand, refuse to believe they genuinely went to the moon.

After exiting the earth’s atmosphere, the spaceship was on its way to the Moon with the help of the three pieces that make up the Saturn V rocket. The first one launched them into space, while the second one remained on the ground and propelled them into orbit. They appeared to be on their way to the moon at long last. That’s how it appeared to the general public, at least.
